He's a Lovecraftian monster/human hybrid like Sam is, though he obtained his monster side by force, and he owns one of the largest companies in the world, Daemoniac Inc. His monster side hates the sun and will overpower him and go on a rampage if he ever lets the sunlight hit him, which is why he goes around carrying an umbrella. He's smooth, suave, and has no problem with killing others to get ahead.
